Application
As a chemically wear-resistant coating for substrates of concrete and stone based on polyurethane resin.
Application: stables, chemical storage sites, food preparation areas, laboratories, toilets, etc.
Protect PH is highly resistant to organic and inorganic acids, alkalis, fuels, hydraulic oil, mineral oils and solvents.

Application: easy to apply
Can be used as a primer and finishing layer. Protect PH can be used for substrates that are subject to heavy chemical, mechanical and thermal stress.

Composition
Protect PH is a Polyurethane-Resin-System with wear-resistant fillers

Appearance
Protect PH has a mat / satin finish. Protect PH is not color stable, and has a tendency to slightly yellow when exposed to UV radiation.

Surface
Protect PH adheres very well to properly prepared clean and dry concrete and cementitious substrates
Strongly damaged concrete floors and slatted floors, where the gravel is already visible, must be finished in advance with a suitable repair mortar.
The substrate must be load-bearing, dimensionally stable, hard and dust-free, dry, oil-free, rubber stripes and all contaminated substances that can cause adhesion problems. The tensile strength must be at least 1.5 N / mm² and the compressive strength must be at least 25 N / mm²
The substrate to be coated may be damp, but may not be wet at all.

 Concrete max. 6 M%%
 Cement-related max. 6 M%%

Protect PH is intended for concrete substrates, such as floors, floor gratings, concrete walls and stucco layers, only to treat all other substrates not mentioned after consultation with our technical department.

Surface preparation
The substrate to be treated, e.g. sanding diamond or by preprocessing dust-free blasting so that it meets the stated and stated requirements.

Timetable floors
The slatted floors to be coated must be cleaned using high-pressure water jets, using a rotary dirt cutter. Clean the slatted floors in such a way that all occurring contaminants are thoroughly removed.

After the aforementioned pretreatment, the gratings must be clean, dry (possibly slightly moist), suction-free, any dense cement skin must be d.m.v. diamond barns to be roughened.

Demolished edges and holes must be prepared in advance with a mineral mortar for this.

Environment
Protect PH can be applied at a floor and ambient temperature of between 10 and 20 ° C. The maximum moisture content of the substrate is allowed. 6% by M, i.e. mat-damp substrates allowed, but without being wet or having any puddles!

Substrate temperature:
At least + 10 ° C max. + 20 ° C

Ambient temperature:
At least. + 10 ° C max. + 25 ° C

Relative Humidity
Max 85%

Higher temperatures shorten and lower temperatures extend the processing drying times.
Dew point:
The temperature of the substrate to be treated must be at least 3C above the dew point to prevent condensation

Mixing
Protect PH is a 3-component polyurethane coating

The complete contents of the hardener are added to the polyurethane binder, this is intensively mixed with a slow-rotating mixer, then the supplied bag of special. fillers added, again mixing for 2 minutes to a lump-free coating

Processing
Ensure personal protection during processing, including gloves, safety glasses.
The material by distribute a nylon paint roller evenly over the surface.

Please note: The material must be processed within 15 minutes , connecting surfaces must be processed fresh in fresh, to obtain an atislip floor, sprinkle the fresh layer with quartz 0.7- 1.2, this layer is provided with an extra layer of Protect PH
after drying
Drying times
Walkable after 24 hours. can be walked on at 10 ° C at 20 C. after 16 hours.
Full cure after 5 days
Higher temperatures shorten and lower temperatures extend the processing time.

Consumption
Ca. 200> 300 g / m² per layer. For use as a primer approx. 300 gr / pm2, as a total system consumption approx. 500> 600 gr / pm2, depending on the infill material.

As a coating on slatted floors max. 0.4 kg in 1 per layer.

Color
Protect PH is standard available in gray, for larger batches (300 kg), multiple colors on request.

Important
All mentioned drying and processing times have been established at 20C with a relative humidity of 70%

Protect PH is not an aesthetic coating, it is not color stable, it is a technical functional coating. Even when applied by a professional, color differences, streaks and light air bubbles can occur.

At the same time chemical, mechanical and thermal loads must take into account a more limited resistance.

Cleaning
Regular cleaning of the applied coating and checking for damage is recommended, reprocessing established damage spots to prevent acid from getting into the floor behind the coating.

Personal protection & tools
Suitable Nitrile gloves, use protective glasses.
Professional nylon rollers suitable for polyurethane / epoxy use.
